We offer 2 different course options.

Our First Aid courses (excluding the essentials course) and workplace courses are QCTO and Department of Employment and Labour accredited, on completion you will received a certificate valid for 3 years.
Our CPR course are America Heart Association and Resuscitation Council of Southern Africa credited, these certificate are valid for 2 years.
Additionally we offer attendance based courses, these offer the candidate a means to learn the basics of first Aid and do not require a testing section.

Basic First Aid (level 1)

This is a course designed to help those that want to expand on their first aid knowledge to become more equipped in the event of an emergency. This course goes into advanced medical training that can help any member of the public perform techniques that will assist someone in need while waiting for medical professionals to arrive.

R 1150 (2 days)

First Aid in the workplace (level 2)

 This course is a practical, hand-on first aid course and includes: demonstrating the principles of primary emergency care; assessing and controlling an emergency scene in the workplace; demonstrating emergency life support for adults, children and infants (including performing cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR),and managing a choking emergency. Managing bleeding and shock; doing a secondary assessment of the sick or injured person and providing appropriate emergency care at the scene with reference to the potential risks found in the particular workplace and keeping records of the incident/accident.

R 1850 (2-3 days)

Advanced First Responder (level 3)

This is a comprehensive first aid course that includes: principles of advanced primary emergency care in health emergencies for people in the workplace; sustaining an advanced level of preparedness to deal with emergencies in the workplace; assessing and managing a multiple injured emergency scene/disaster in the workplace; demonstrating knowledge and understanding of anatomy and physiology of the human body and the specific disorders and diseases relating to each system as prescribed for this course; demonstrating primary emergency life support (adults, children and infants); managing shock; conducting a secondary assessment of the victim/s of a medical or trauma emergency and maintaining appropriate primary emergency care. By using a systematic approach to first aid, our first aid courses are designed to help learners to work logically, efficiently and effectively when assessing and managing an emergency.

Essential First Aid for Children

The course targets all lay responders such as parents, caregivers, guardians, domestic workers, or family members of a child at high risk for sudden death, and other laypersons wanting to learn first aid essentials for children.

The course provides hands-on practice in the skills of first aid for children in the home, including accident prevention, medical emergencies, trauma injuries, environmental emergencies, CPR, choking and the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs)

CPR for Everyone

The Course provides hands-on practice in the skills of CPR and choking for adults, children and infants, including the use of barrier devices and pocket masks, and how to activate the emergency services.
The course is designed to teach the techniques of CPR and choking in adults, children and infants, and the use of the AED to lay rescuers, particularly those who are expected to respond to emergencies in their occupation or workplace. The Course is ideal for security personnel, law enforcement officers, firefighters, lifeguards, swimming coaches, health and fitness staff, corporate and retail employees and other lay responders.

SHE-REP (workplace safety rep)

This course will enable health and safety representatives to understand the objectives and legal requirements regarding health and safety in the workplace. The learners will be able to explain the rights, powers, functions and duties of the workplace health and safety representative and how any problems concerning health, safety and environment may be handled. Learners will also be able to participate in the safety, health and environmental structures and measure these activities according to health, safety and environmental requirements..

Basic Fire Fighting (Fire Marshal)

This basic fire fighting course will enable employees to prevent, identify and extinguish insipient-stage fires in the workplace using basic fire-fighting equipment. It is a hands-on, practical course in basic fire fighting but also includes formal instruction on various aspects of fire and fire behaviour, fire prevention and evacuation procedures, basic fire equipment and fire fighting procedures. This basic fire fighting course includes topics such as fire safety and fire prevention, identifying the type of fire, evaluating the context of the fire and selecting the appropriate fire fighting procedure; identifying, selecting and checking appropriate fire fighting and safety equipment; fighting containable/extinguishable fires; retreating from fire site and handing over to appropriate personnel; reporting/recording the status of fire and equipment.
